DESCRIZIONE
The invention relates to artificial fishing bait. The lure comprises a plate and a metal weight. Openings are formed in the front and rear parts of the plate on the longitudinal axis thereof, which is also the axis of symmetry thereof. Lateral parts of the plate are symmetrically curved downwards relative to the longitudinal axis thereof. The metal weight is elongated longitudinally, is flattened in a vertical plane and has an upper edge which is tapered and rectilinear or is concave in the central part. Two rods are formed at the front and rear of the metal weight, which rods project upwards in a vertical plane above the upper edge of the weight and are inserted with a clearance into the openings in the longitudinally elongated, curved plate arranged at the top of the weight. The ends of the rods are spread apart longitudinally or are directed towards each other. A device for attaching a fishing line is in the form of a lug or a vertical flat projection at the front of the weight with an opening, wherein the opening or the lug is extended forwards relative to the centre of gravity of the lure and is arranged in front of the metal weight at the lower edge thereof and has an indentation downwards relative to the longitudinal axis of the plate. The plate is connected to the weight such that the plate can rotate relative to the longitudinal axis thereof in both directions through the same angle from a position in which the lateral edges of the plate are arranged symmetrically relative to the weight, and at least one hook in the tail part of the lure is attached at the rear to the weight or to the backwardly curved end of the rear rod. The invention provides for an increase in fishing success because of good flying characteristics when casting, automatic penetration capability and effective oscillations of the lure.
