The mechanical, thermodynamic, acoustic, optical, electrical and magneto electric characteristics of nanomaterials is differ from its coarse crystalloid. The far infrared ray transmitted by nanomaterials can improve water quality and reduce water associated molecule to 6-8, and it also can increase water activity and cell permeability. To know its improving breed aquatics effects, the experiment was conducted to study the physical and chemical characteristics of culture water body after culturing cyprinoid in box by applying nanomaterials. Three kinds of nanomaterials were used in this experiment with four treatments as control (CK), biological assistant growth unit, nano-net and nano-gallipot at three replications. Thirty five kg of tap water was poured into each culture box, about two-thirds of culture box, respectively. One biological assistant growth unit, two nano-nets (22×25cm2) and six nano-gallipots were placed in each corresponding box. And ten cyprinoids with the similar weight (about 11.5g) were cultured in each treatment box for 50 days. During the experiment time, culturing water was not changed and oxygen was not supplied, and water physical and chemical characteristics of DO, pH, Ec, COD, NO2-, NO3- and NH4+ were assayed every week. Results showed that there was no significant difference of DO, Ec, and NH4+ among treatments. However, treatments with the nanomaterials increased the pH value and decreased the content of NO2- and NO3-. In addition, the survival rate of cyprinoid was significantly improved under the nanomaterials treatments. The experiment showed that nanomaterials can improve water quality and promote cyprinoid growth and development.
