DESCRIZIONE
The invention relates to an artificial fishing lure having a sinker (1). Said lure has a front region (11) wherein catching means (11b) can be attached on the end (11a) thereof. Said lure further comprises a rear region (13) wherein mounting means (13b), particularly a fishing line, can be attached to the end thereof (13a). The fishing lure has a sinker (1) in the form of a streamlined extended hollow body having first and second flat sides (14, 15). The first flat side (14) on the outer side is formed at least in the front region (11) as a type of hydrofoil and has a sinker weight (16), and at least one flat side (14, 15) has flow openings (14b, 15a, 15b). At least the second flat side (15) particularly advantageously has flow openings (15a) in the front region (11) of the sinker. A sinker of said type has the particular advantage that said sinker lays diagonally when drifting downward, due to the hydrofoil-like design of the first flat side and the one-sided position of the sinker on said flat side in the front region, so that said sinker glides downward in a spiral-shaped path or path regions taking a course approaching the surface of a cone. Said effect is particularly further improved by the flow openings on at least one flat side of the hollow body.
