DESCRIZIONE
A cast copper alloy article, which comprises, in mass %, 58 to 72.5 % of Cu, 0.0008 to 0.45 % of Zr, 0.01 to 0.25 % of P, one or more elements selected from 0.01 to 4 % of Pb, 0.01 to 3 % of Bi, 0.03 to 1 % of Se and 0.05 to 1.2 % of Te, and the balanced amount of Zn, with the proviso that f1 = [Cu] - 3[P] + 0.5([Pb] + [Bi] + [Se] + [Te]) = 60 to 90, f2 = [P]/[Zr]= 0.5 to 120 and f3 = 0.05[Ϝ] + ([Pb] + [Bi] + [Se] + [Te]) = 0.45 to 4 are satisfied, wherein [a] % represents the content of the element a in mass %, [Ϝ] % represents the content of Ϝ phase in area %, and [a] = 0 with respect to an element which is not contained, and has a structure, wherein the sum of the contents of α phase and Ϝ phase is 85 area % or more and the content of Ϝ phase is 25 area % or less, and an average crystal grain diameter in a macro structure at the time of the solidification of a molten metal is 250 μm or less.
