DESCRIZIONE
The rope and strand connector according to the invention essentially consists of two half-shells (1, 2) which can be joined together, each having a channel (8, 9) for clamping the torn-off ends (10.11). The two half-shells (1, 2) are formed from hard-elastic plastic, which are connected to each other in a pivotable manner along one longitudinal edge (4) via so-called film hinges (3). At the opposite edge (5) of a half-shell (1) so-called auffederbare latching hooks (6) are formed, which engage when folding the half-shells (1,2) in corresponding recesses (7) on the outside of the other half-shell (2) , On the channel (8) of a half-shell (1) are transversely to the channel axis two brackets (13) with its two strap ends (16) pivotally formed. (see Fig.1)
The stranded connector is used primarily for repairing Weidenzäunen, but also of gate or fishing nets, and offers the great advantage that the total length of the strand (12) is maintained when joining the broken strand ends (10,11). [Image Omitted]
