Pesca Pubblicazione scientifica Stopping a Water Crossflow in a Sour Gas Producer Well FILONE TECNOLOGICO TEMA produzione e cattura RIASSUNTO AbstractThis paper presents a summary of the strategy and execution for intersecting and plugging at a depth of 2730m a significant water cross flow (10000-15 000m3/day) invading a depleted sour gas producer well. This operation was performed at the beginning of 1997 in the south west of France. To save time, the top part (0-2100m) of the damaged well was reused and the well side tracked through tile collapsed zone. Then Drilling along side the old well was resumed prior to intersecting the 7"" casing and tile 3""1/2 DP.
