This underwater cleaning robot (1) comprises cleaning nozzle units (5) rotatably provided on a lower part of a robot body (2), and a travel device (3) for moving the robot body. The travel device (3) includes first travel means (36a, 37a, 38a, 39a) provided on the left and right of the robot body, and second travel means (36b, 37b, 38b, 39b) respectively provided frontward and backward of the first travel means and located above bottom ends of the first travel means. The present invention is able to travel in a stable manner over bends and uneven areas of the surface of an object to be cleaned and effectively performs cleaning even if the surface of the object to be cleaned, such as fishing net, covers a wide area.
