RIASSUNTO
In large seaports, ship traffic safety is provided by vessel traffic services (VTS). In Primorye the safety of navigation is provided by the VTS of Peter the Great Gulf. It functions in order to improve the efficiency of shipping and safety of life at sea, including on the water areas of seaports: Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Vostochny, Zarubino, Posyet and on approaches to them. An important component of the VTS of Peter the Great Gulf is a communications and data network (CDN) that provides information about the navigation situation from radio engineering posts to the VTS control centers. The actual problem of the CDN VTS is to increase their throughput, which is due to the need to increase the amount of information transmitted. Radio-relay links cannot fully provide a solution to this problem in view of their inherent disadvantages, and therefore, this work substantiates the use of wireless broadband access technology.
