This research is to analyze the resistance and stability of double step hull with fast craft. Fast boats have a design to reach the desired speed. In the manufacture of a ship, the manufacturers always pay attention to the economic and technological side, which is in addition to the planned design parameters, as well as economic considerations. Based on the above thoughts, the research tested the effectiveness of using the Step Hull on a 14 m patrol vessel, which has result in ship resistance, this proven when the speed is 28 knot the variation of model C has 16.5 kN resistance, model A has 18.6 kN, and model A has 18.2 kN. Then, the biggest power of each, model original are 468,725 HP for model B are 431,561, and for model C 424,916 HP. Result Analyze the stability and operability of the ship while operating stability ship was evaluated by HSC 2000 Annex 8 Monohull and International Maritime Organization (IMO) criteria.
