RIASSUNTO
This paper aims to combine the practical application of artificial intelligence and modern navigation collision avoidance, to solve the difficult collision problem of ships which going through the complex water area. Based on AHP (The Analytic Hierarchy Process), ANN (Artificial Neural Network) and other methods, this paper proposes the T minutes prediction algorithm. In this algorithm, the parameter T varies with the changes of ship's specific environment such as the speed, the direction and the weather conditions and so on. According to the value of T, it predict the coordinates of ships T minutes later, marked as P and estimate whether there exist any collision risk there. If the ship is in a dangerous situation, it will sound a warning in advance and build a collision avoidance priority list in accordance with the different risk value of the target ship. This list will be provided to the driver to alert them to take early action to avoid collision according to the different risk level, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing maritime collisions.
