DESCRIZIONE
The present invention relates to a device (100) intended for signalling a boat or ship to the mooring, comprising a signalling means (300) which is deformable between an active geometry in the form of a sphere and a more or less elongate storage geometry, a rigid tubular sleeve (210) forming, firstly, a protective holder in which the signalling means (300) can be placed in its elongate geometry and, secondly, a pole for supporting it in its active geometry. According to the invention, the device (100) comprises a means (410) for driving in translation, said means being suitable for removing the signalling means (300) from said tubular sleeve (210), and a deformation means (430, 452, 464) suitable for deforming the signalling means (300) into its active geometry in the final phase of its removal from the tubular sleeve (210). When fixing the device to a boat or a ship, the signalling means is positioned and then put into shape at the top of the pole. There is thus no longer a need to hoist a conventional signalling means each time the boat or ship is anchored or moored. The tubular sleeve constitutes a protective holder for the signalling means when the device is inactive. It thus has a smaller space requirement.
