DESCRIZIONE
The invention relates to a device and a method for converting kinetic energy into heat. Kinetic energy in this context means energy that is generated by a person in motion, e.g. whilst running, cycling, horse riding etc. The heat is generated by two moulded parts (1, 2), located one behind the other in the primary direction of the motion, at least one of which consists of a polymer plastic and is elastically flexible and which are structured on their opposite surfaces in such a way that surface friction occurs when the moulded parts (1, 2) move towards one another, producing frictional heat.
